      In a case in which the appellant, the father, demanded that his child be returned to the U.S., his country of habitual residence, the Tokyo High Court reversed the original decision dismissing his petition for return of the child and ordered the return of the child, stating that grounds for refusal of return cannot be recognized. After the decision became final and binding, the child was returned to the U.S. by execution of the release (Direct Enforcement).<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n
